Sukta 2.16
प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥
prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||
దాటేందుకు నావలా, ఉచ్చారణను కోరే వాక్యంతో, బ్రహ్మ (మంత్రం)తో, హే ధృఢుడా, సోమయాగ సవనాలలో నేను నీ వద్దకు వస్తున్నాను. మా ఈ వచనాన్ని ఆయన నిజంగా గమనించి గ్రహించునా? సంపదల ఊటలా ఇంద్రుని మేము పొంగిపొర్లేలా పోయుదాం—ఊటలాగా ప్రవహింపజేద్దాం.
