Sukta 2.15
सद्मेव प्राचो वि मिमाय मानैर्वज्रेण खान्यतृणन्नदीनाम् । वृथासृजत्पथिभिर्दीर्घयाथैः सोमस्य ता मद इन्द्रश्चकार ॥
sadmeva prāco vi mimāya mānair vajreṇa khāny atṛṇan nadīnām | vṛthā sṛjat pathibhir dīrghayāthaiḥ somasya tā made indraś cakāra ||
సద్మం (నివాసం) నిర్మించునట్లు, కొలతలతో ముందుభాగాల విస్తారాలను కొలిచాడు; వజ్రంతో నదుల కాలువలను చీల్చి తెరిచాడు. దీర్ఘయాత్ర మార్గాల వెంట వాటిని ప్రవహింపజేశాడు—సోమమదంలో ఇవన్నీ ఇంద్రుడు చేశాడు.
