Sukta 10.85

Rishi: sūryāsāvitrī
Devata: protective warding against arātis/paripanthins in marriage passage

मा विदन्परिपन्थिनो य आसीदन्ति दम्पती । सुगेभिर्दुर्गमतीतामप द्रान्त्वरातयः ॥

mā́ vídan paripanthíno yá āsī́danti dámpatī | sugébhir durgám atītā́m ápa drā́ntv arā́tayaḥ ||

ఒకే గృహాధిపత్యంలో ఏకమై కూర్చున్న ఆ దంపతులను పొంచి ఉన్నవారు కనుగొనకూడదు. శుభగమనములచే వారు దుర్గమ మార్గాన్ని దాటి పోవుగాక; శత్రు శక్తులు తరిమివేయబడి వెనుదిరిగి పడిపోవుగాక.
