Sukta 10.78
अश्वासो न ये ज्येष्ठास आशवो दिधिषवो न रथ्यः सुदानवः । आपो न निम्नैरुदभिर्जिगत्नवो विश्वरूपा अङ्गिरसो न सामभिः ॥
aśvā́so na yé jyéṣṭhāsa āśávo didhiṣávo na rathyàḥ su-dā́naváḥ | ā́po na nimnáir udábhír jigatnávो viśvá-rūpā aṅgíraso na sā́ma-bhiḥ ||
ముందున్న అశ్వాలు వలె వారు అత్యంత వేగవంతులు; రథయోధులు వలె గెలవాలని తపించి, సమృద్ధిగా దానం చేస్తారు. వాలుదారులు, ప్రవాహాల వెంట నీరు పరుగెత్తినట్లు వారు దూసుకుపోతారు; విశ్వరూపులు—అంగిరసులు తమ సామగానాలతో చేసినట్లు, వారు కాంతి యొక్క సౌహార్ద్య స్వరాలను తీసుకొస్తారు.
