Sukta 10.78
रथानां न येऽराः सनाभयो जिगीवांसो न शूरा अभिद्यवः । वरेयवो न मर्या घृतप्रुषोऽभिस्वर्तारो अर्कं न सुष्टुभः ॥
rathā́nāṃ na yé’rā́ḥ sa-nā́bhayo jigīvā́ṃso na śū́rā abhi-dyávaḥ | vareyávo na maryā́ ghṛtá-pruṣo’bhi-svartā́ro arkaṃ́ na su-stúbhaḥ ||
దృఢమైన నాభితో కూడిన రథాల అరలు (స్పోక్స్) వలె వారు; జయశీల శూరులు వలె ముందుకు దూసుకెళ్లి దాడి చేస్తారు. వరణీయ యువకులు వలె వారు ‘ఘృత-ప్రుష’—నెయ్యి వంటి కాంతి/రస బిందువులతో చిందుతూ, పైకి ఉప్పొంగి ఎగసిపోతారు; అలాగే సుస్టుత—సుందరంగా పలికిన స్తోత్రం వలె, వారు బలమైన ఉచ్చారణగా నిలుస్తారు.
