देवानां युगे प्रथमेऽसतः सदजायत । तदाशा अन्वजायन्त तदुत्तानपदस्परि ॥
Transliteration
devā́nāṃ yugé prathamé 'sataḥ sád ajāyata | tád āśā́ ánv ajāyanta tád uttāná-padas pári ||
Translation
దేవుల ప్రథమ యుగంలో అసత్ నుండి సత్ ఉద్భవించింది. అప్పుడు ఆశా—దిశలు—అనుజన్మించాయి; వాటితో పాటు ఉత్తానపద—విస్తారమైన అడుగుల ఆధారాలు—చుట్టూరా ప్రదర్శితమయ్యాయి; వాటిపై జగత్తు నిలువగలదు.
