एह्यग्न इह होता नि षीदादब्धः सु पुरएता भवा नः । अवतां त्वा रोदसी विश्वमिन्वे यजा महे सौमनसाय देवान् ॥
Transliteration
éhya agne ihá hótā ní ṣīdā́dabdhaḥ sú puraetā bhavā naḥ | ávatāṃ tvā ródasī viśváminve yájā mahé sáumanasāya devā́n ||
Translation
హే అగ్నీ, ఇక్కడికి రా; ఇక్కడ హోతాగా కూర్చో—అదబ్ధ (అజేయ)గా. మాకు సు-పురఏతా అవు—శుభ అగ్రగామి నాయకుడిగా. విశ్వాన్ని ప్రేరేపించే ద్యావా-పృథివీ (రోదసీ) నిన్ను ధారించుగాక. మా మహత్ సౌమనస్యార్థం దేవులను యజించు.
