सनादेव तव रायो गभस्तौ न क्षीयन्ते नोप दस्यन्ति दस्म । द्युमाँ असि क्रतुमाँ इन्द्र धीरः शिक्षा शचीवस्तव नः शचीभिः ॥

sanā́d evá táva rā́yo gábhastau ná kṣī́yante nópa dasyanti dasma | dyumá̄m asi krátumā̄m indra dhī́raḥ śíkṣā śacīvas táva naḥ śácībhiḥ ||

పూర్వకాలం నుంచే, నీ రాయః/వసువులు (సంపదలు) నీ గభస్తి (చేతిపట్టు/పట్టులో), ఓ దస్మ, క్షీణించవు; తగ్గిపోవు. నీవు ద్యుమాన్ (దీప్తిమంతుడు), క్రతుమాన్ (సంకల్పశక్తి గలవాడు), ఓ ఇంద్ర, ధీరుడు (స్థిరబుద్ధి); శచీవన్, నీ శచులు (ప్రభావకర శక్తులు) ద్వారా మాకు బోధించు.
