Sukta 1.55
त्वं तमिन्द्र पर्वतं न भोजसे महो नृम्णस्य धर्मणामिरज्यसि । प्र वीर्येण देवताति चेकिते विश्वस्मा उग्रः कर्मणे पुरोहितः ॥
tváṃ tám indra párvataṃ ná bhojase mahó nṛmṇásya dhármaṇām irajyasi | prá vīryeṇa devátāti cekite víśvasmā ugráḥ kármaṇe puróhitaḥ ||
ఓ ఇంద్రా! తినబడుతూ క్షీణించే పర్వతంలా నీవు తగ్గిపోవు; వీరబలపు మహా ధర్మాలలో నీవు దీప్తిగా ప్రకాశిస్తావు. నీ పరాక్రమంతో దేవకార్యం స్పష్టమవుతుంది; ప్రతి కర్మకు నీవు ముందుండే—ఉగ్ర పురోహితుడు, శ్రమను విజయానికి నడిపించే నాయకుడు।
