Sukta 1.184
अस्मे ऊ षु वृषणा मादयेथामुत्पणीँर्हतमूर्म्या मदन्ता । श्रुतं मे अच्छोक्तिभिर्मतीनामेष्टा नरा निचेतारा च कर्णैः ॥
asmé ū ṣú vṛṣaṇā mādayethām ut-paṇī́ṃr hatam ū́rmyā mádantā | śrutáṃ me ácchoktibhir matīnā́m eṣṭā́ narā ní-cetārā ca kárṇaiḥ ||
మాలోనే, హే వృషణౌ (బలవంతులారా), మీరు ఆనందించండి; దాచిపెట్టేవారిని (సంచయకర్తలను) కొట్టి పడగొట్టి, ఊర్మి (బలతరంగం/వేగం) తో మదించండి. నా మతి (ఆలోచన-రూపాలు) చెప్పిన సు-ఉక్తిని (సుస్పష్ట వాక్యాన్ని) వినండి; హే నరా (వీరులారా), హే ఇష్టా (యాచన-పూర్తికర్తలారా), జాగ్రత్తగా గమనించే కర్ణాలతో దీనిని గ్రహించండి.
