Sukta 1.130
इमां ते वाचं वसूयन्त आयवो रथं न धीरः स्वपा अतक्षिषुः सुम्नाय त्वामतक्षिषुः । शुम्भन्तो जेन्यं यथा वाजेषु विप्र वाजिनम् । अत्यमिव शवसे सातये धना विश्वा धनानि सातये ॥
imā́ṃ te vā́caṃ vasūyánta ā́yavo ráthaṃ na dhī́raḥ svápā atakṣiṣuḥ sumnā́ya tvā́m atakṣiṣuḥ | śumbhánto jényam yáthā vā́jeṣu vipra vājínam | átyam-iva śávase sātáye dhánā víśvā dhánāni sātáye ||
హే ఇంద్రా! ఆత్మసంపద యొక్క ధనాన్ని కోరుతూ, నీకోసం ఈ వాణిని మేము మలిచాము; ధీరులు, నిపుణులు దీన్ని రథంలా నిర్మించారు—నీ సుమ్నం (అనుగ్రహం) కొరకు నిన్నే ఇట్లా సన్నద్ధం చేశారు. ఓ విప్రా! యజ్ఞ-పోటీలలో విజేత వాజిన్ను అలంకరించునట్లు, నీ జెన్య (విజయదాయక) శక్తిని మేము శోభింపజేస్తాము; బలానికీ, విజయసాధనకీ, నిన్ను అశ్వంలా ముందుకు నడిపిస్తాము—సర్వ ధనాలు, సర్వ సంపదలు విజయార్థమే.
