Bharata at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage
न चैतदिष्टं माता मे यदवोचन्मदन्तरे।नाहमेतेन तुष्टश्च न तद्वचनमाददे।।2.90.16।।
na caitad iṣṭaṃ mātā me yad avocan mad-antare |
nāham etena tuṣṭaś ca na tad-vacanam ādade || 2.90.16 ||
నా లేనప్పుడు నా తల్లి పలికిన మాట నాకు ఇష్టమైనది కాదు. దానితో నేను తృప్తి చెందలేదు; ఆ వచనాన్ని నేను స్వీకరించను।
I have come to worship the feet of Rama, the best of men and persuade him to return to Ayodhya.
