शब्दवेध्य-अनर्थः, ऋषिशापः, दशरथस्य प्राणत्यागः
The Sound-Target Tragedy, the Sage’s Curse, and Dasaratha’s Death
एतन्मे सदृशं देवि यन्मया राघवे कृतम्।सदृशं तत्तु तस्यैव यदनेन कृतं मयि।।।।
etan me sadṛśaṁ devi yan mayā rāghave kṛtam | sadṛśaṁ tat tu tasyaiva yad anena kṛtaṁ mayi ||
హే దేవీ, నేను రాఘవునికి చేసినది ఏదైతే ఉందో, దానికి తగినదే ఇప్పుడు నాపై తిరిగి వచ్చింది; అతడు నాపై చేసినది మాత్రం అతనికే తగిన, అతని స్వభావానికే సరిపోయినది.
Whatever I have done to the scion of the Raghu family (Rama) is befitting me, O Devi. And whatever he has done in respect of me is also worthy of him.
