पञ्चा॑पूपं शिति॒पाद॒मविं॑ लो॒केन॒ संमि॑तम्। प्र॒दा॒तोप॑ जीवति सूर्यामा॒सयो॒रक्षि॑तम्
páñcāpū́paṃ śitipādám avím lokéna sáṃmitam | pradātópa jīvati sū́ryāmāsáyor ákṣitam ||
A white-footed ewe, of worth approved by common reckoning, with five cakes therewith: the giver verily liveth on, imperishable, in the station of Sun and Moon.
ఐదు అపూపాలు (పంచాపూపం) తో కూడిన, లోకసమ్మతమైన విలువతో నిర్ధారించబడిన శ్వేతపాద (శితిపాద) గొర్రె/గొర్రెపిల్ల—ఇలా దానం చేసే దాత సూర్య-చంద్రుల లోకం/స్థానంలో నిశ్చయంగా జీవిస్తాడు, అక్షయంగా.
