Sukta 29
इरेव नोप दस्यति समुद्रइव पयो महत्। देवउसवासिनाविव शितिपान्नोप दस्यति
írevá nópa dasyati samudrá iva páyo máhat | devóusavāsināv iva śitipā́nnópa dasyati ||
As Iḍā bestoweth nourishment, as ocean yieldeth mighty milk, so, like the divine Dawn-powers, the white-footed one bestoweth bounty upon us.
ఇడా (ఇళా) మనకు పోషణనిచ్చినట్లే, సముద్రం మహత్తరమైన పాలవంటి రసాన్ని ప్రసాదించినట్లే, అలాగే—దివ్య ఉషా-శక్తులవలె—శ్వేతపాదుడు (శితిపాద) మనకు దాన-సంపదను ప్రసాదించుగాక.
