न वरं प्रार्थयत्येष लाभालाभसमन्वितः ॥ सूचकोऽपि न विद्येत बलिकर्मसु संयतः
na varaṁ prārthayaty eṣa lābhālābha-samanvitaḥ || sūcako 'pi na vidyeta bali-karmasu saṁyataḥ
அவன் லாப-நஷ்டங்களில் சமநிலையுடன் இருந்து எந்த வரத்தையும் வேண்டவில்லை. பலி-கிரமங்களில் கட்டுப்பட்ட அவனில் சுயநலத்தின் குறியீடும் இல்லை.
