Sukta 7.54
वास्तोष्पते प्रतरणो न एधि गयस्फानो गोभिरश्वेभिरिन्दो । अजरासस्ते सख्ये स्याम पितेव पुत्रान्प्रति नो जुषस्व ॥
vā́stoḥ pate pra-táraṇo na edhi gaya-sphā́no góbhir áśvebhir indo | ajárāsas te sakhyé syāma pitḗva putrā́n práti no juṣasva ||
ஹே வாஸ்தோஷ்பதி, எங்களுக்கு பிராதர-ரண (முன்னே நடத்தும் மீட்பன்) ஆக இருப்பாயாக; ஹே இந்து (ஸோம), பசுச் செல்வமும் குதிரைச் செல்வமும் கொண்டு எங்களுக்கு கயஸ்பான (உயிர்வளர்ப்பவன்) ஆக இருப்பாயாக. உன் நட்பில் நாங்கள் அஜரா (அழியாத)வர்களாய் இருப்போமாக; தந்தை மக்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதுபோல், உன்னை நோக்கி வந்த எங்களை ஏற்றருள்வாயாக.
