Sukta 5.42
उप स्तुहि प्रथमं रत्नधेयं बृहस्पतिं सनितारं धनानाम् । यः शंसते स्तुवते शम्भविष्ठः पुरूवसुरागमज्जोहुवानम् ॥
úpa stuhi prathamáṃ ratnadhéyaṃ bṛ́haspátiṃ sanitā́raṃ dhánānām | yáḥ śáṃsate stuvaté śámbhaviṣṭhaḥ purūvásur ā́gamat jóhुवānam ||
வா, முதலில் ரத்தின-நிதியான, செல்வங்களை வெல்லும் ப்ருஹஸ்பதியைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடு. புகழ்பவனுக்கும் ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்பவனுக்கும் அவர் மிகுந்த நன்மை தருபவர்; பல-செல்வம் உடையவர் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அழைப்பவனிடம் வந்து சேர்கிறார்.
