Sukta 10.6
ईशे यो विश्वस्या देववीतेरीशे विश्वायुरुषसो व्युष्टौ । आ यस्मिन्मना हवींष्यग्नावरिष्टरथः स्कभ्नाति शूषैः ॥
ī́śe yó víśvasyā devávīter ī́śe viśvā́yur uṣáso vyùṣṭau | ā yásmin manā́ havī́ṃṣy agnā́v áriṣṭarathaḥ skabh́nāti śūṣáiḥ ||
தேவ-வீதி (தேவரை நோக்கிச் செலுத்தும் யாகப் பாதை) யின் அதிபதியாகிய அவர், அனைத்துலகத்தையும் ஆள்கிறார்; உஷஸ் வெளிப்படுதலில் அவர் முழு ஆயுள்-பரப்பாகவும் அதிபதியாக இருக்கிறார். அவரிடமே மனம் ஹவீம்ஷி (ஆஹுதிகள்) யை அக்னியில் நிறுவுகிறது; அவிரிஷ்ட-ரதன் (அழியாத ரதமுடையவன்) தன் ஶூஷைḥ (வல்லமைப் பராக்ரமங்கள்) கொண்டு முன்னேறி (யாகத்தை) தாங்கி நிலைநிறுத்துகிறான்.
