Transliteration

sahasrākṣeṇa śataśāradena śatāyuṣā haviṣāhārṣam enam | śataṃ yathemáṃ śarádo nayātīndró víśvasya duritásya pārám ||

Translation

சஹஸ்ராக்ஷ (ஆயிரக் கண்கள் உடைய) வல்லமையால், சத-சாரத (நூறு சரத் பருவங்கள்) பரிபாகத்தால், சதாயு (நூறு ஆயுள்) உடன்—ஹவிஷா (ஆஹுதி) மூலம் இவனை இங்கே கொண்டு வந்தேன். இந்த உயிரை இந்திரன் நூறு பருவங்கள் வரை நடத்தி, எல்லா துரித (துன்ப-தவறுச்சலனம்) ஆகியவற்றின் அப்பாற் கரை வரை கடத்துவானாக.
