एवंविधं कथयतां पौराणां शुश्रुवु स्तदा।दिग्भ्योपि श्रुतवृत्तान्ता: प्राप्ता जानपदा जनाः।।2.6.25।।
evaṃvidhaṃ kathayatāṃ paurāṇāṃ śuśruvuḥ tadā |
digbhyo 'pi śrutavṛttāntāḥ prāptā jānapadā janāḥ || 2.6.25 ||
நகரவாசிகள் இவ்வாறு பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், செய்தியைக் கேட்டு எல்லாத் திசைகளிலிருந்தும் நாட்டுப்புற மக்கள் அப்போது வந்து சேர்ந்தனர்; வந்து கேட்டனர்.
