Sukta 4
जङ्गि॒डो ज॒म्भाद् वि॑श॒राद् विष्क॑न्धादभि॒शोच॑नात्। म॒णिः स॒हस्र॑वीर्यः॒ परि॑ णः पातु वि॒श्वतः॑
jáṅgiḍó jámbhād víśarād víṣkandhād abhíśocanāt | maṇíḥ sahásravīryaḥ pári naḥ pātu viśvátaḥ ||
From Jambha, from Viśará, from Viṣkandha, from the Abhiśocana—may the amulet, the thousand-powered, encompass us and guard us from every side.
ஜம்ப, விஷர, விஷ்கந்த, அபிஷோசன—இவற்றிலிருந்து; ஆயிரம் வலிமை கொண்ட அந்த மணி எங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் சூழ்ந்து, எல்லாத் திசைகளிலிருந்தும் காக்கட்டும்.
