Sukta 6.47
अयं स्वादुरिह मदिष्ठ आस यस्येन्द्रो वृत्रहत्ये ममाद । पुरूणि यश्च्यौत्ना शम्बरस्य वि नवतिं नव च देह्यो हन् ॥
ayáṃ svādúr ihá mádiṣṭha āsa yásyéndro vṛtrahátye mamā́da | purū́ṇi yáś cyautnā́ śámbharasya ví navatíṃ náva ca dehyò han ||
Сладок он здесь, наисильнейше опьяняющий: в нём Индра ликует для убиения Вритры, Сокрывающего. Тот, кто сокрушил многие твердыни Шамбары, кто поразил девяносто и девять, — в этой силе находит он усладу.
