इमामू नु कवितमस्य मायां महीं देवस्य नकिरा दधर्ष । एकं यदुद्ना न पृणन्त्येनीरासिञ्चन्तीरवनयः समुद्रम् ॥
imā́m ū̀ nú kavítamasya māyā́ṃ mahī́ṃ devásya nákir ā́ dadharṣa | ékaṃ yád udnā́ ná pṛṇanty énīr āsiñcántīr avánayaḥ samudrám ||
Ныне — эту великую майю, творящую мощь всевидящего бога, — никто не одолел. Одного Океана не наполняют реки, хотя непрестанно вливают воды: так и беспредельное вмещает все течения, не иссякая — бесконечность Варуны удерживает их и хранит ритуальный порядок.
