सोम उ षुवाणः सोतृभिरधि ष्णुभिरवीनाम् । अश्वयेव हरिता याति धारया मन्द्रया याति धारया ॥

sóma u ṣuvānáḥ sotṛ́bhir ádhi snúbhir avī́nām | áśvayā-iva harítā yāti dhā́rayā mandráyā yāti dhā́rayā ||

Soma, de fato, sendo prensado pelos prensadores, move-se sobre as cristas da lã das ovelhas. Como um cavalo, o dourado-esverdeado vai pela corrente; pela corrente arrebatadora ele vai.
