सं वत्स इव मातृभिरिन्दुर्हिन्वानो अज्यते । देवावीर्मदो मतिभिः परिष्कृतः ॥
Transliteration
saṃ vatsa iva mātṛbhir índur hinvā́no ajyate | devāvī́r mádo matíbhiḥ páriṣkṛtaḥ ||
Translation
Como um bezerro junto às mães, Indu (Soma), impelido, é ungido e levado à inteireza. Este êxtase que traz aos deuses a força heroica é depurado e aperfeiçoado pelos pensamentos clarificados (matī).
