Sukta 8.3
येना समुद्रमसृजो महीरपस्तदिन्द्र वृष्णि ते शवः । सद्यः सो अस्य महिमा न संनशे यं क्षोणीरनुचक्रदे ॥
yéna samudrám asṛ́jo mahī́r apás tád índra vṛ́ṣṇi te śávaḥ | sadyáḥ só asya mahimā́ ná saṃnáśe yáṃ kṣoṇī́r anucakradé ||
Por aquilo com que fizeste jorrar o oceano, as grandes águas — essa, ó Indra, é a tua força taurina (vṛṣṇi), o teu poder. De pronto não diminui a sua grandeza: aquele a quem as regiões da terra seguem no seu curso circular.
