Sukta 7.33

Rishi: Vasiṣṭha (about Vasiṣṭha)
Devata: Implied Mitra-Varuṇa (dual pouring); sacrificial powers (satra) as operative

सत्रे ह जाताविषिता नमोभिः कुम्भे रेतः सिषिचतुः समानम् । ततो ह मान उदियाय मध्यात्ततो जातमृषिमाहुर्वसिष्ठम् ॥

satré ha jātā́viṣitā námobhiḥ kumbhé rétaḥ sisicatuḥ samānám | táto ha mā́na úd iyāya mádhyāt táto jātám ṛ́ṣim āhur vasiṣṭhám ||

Na sessão do sacrifício, instigados ao nascer por atos de reverência, verteram a única semente comum num jarro. Dali o si vital ergueu-se do meio para o alto; dali chamam o nascido um ṛṣi — Vasiṣṭha.
