Sukta 6.68
ता गृणीहि नमस्येभिः शूषैः सुम्नेभिरिन्द्रावरुणा चकाना । वज्रेणान्यः शवसा हन्ति वृत्रं सिषक्त्यन्यो वृजनेषु विप्रः ॥
tā́ gṛṇīhi namasyébhíḥ śūṣáiḥ sumnébhír indrā́varuṇā cakānā́ | vájreṇā́nyaḥ śávasā hánti vṛtráṃ síṣakty anyó vṛjánéṣu vípraḥ ||
Cantai a esses dois, Indra e Varuṇa, com reverências, com forças, com felizes amplidões, deleitando-se na oferenda. Um abate Vṛtra com o Vajra, por pura potência; o outro, o vidente, estabelece e ata as obras retas nos campos da ação.
