Sukta 6.52
न तद्दिवा न पृथिव्यानु मन्ये न यज्ञेन नोत शमीभिराभिः । उब्जन्तु तं सुभ्वः पर्वतासो नि हीयतामतियाजस्य यष्टा ॥
ná tád divā́ ná pṛthivyā́ ánu manye ná yajñéna nóta śamī́bhir ābhíḥ | ubjántu táṃ subhvàḥ párvatāso ní hīyatām atiyā́jasya yaṣṭā́ ||
Não o meço pela altura do Céu nem pela largura da Terra; nem pelas formas do sacrifício, nem sequer por estes atos de apaziguamento. Que as potências firmes e luminosas — as «montanhas» — o comprimam; que o que sobre-sacrifica, o ofertante desviado, se aparte e caia, com a força diminuída.
