य उग्र इव शर्यहा तिग्मशृङ्गो न वंसगः । अग्ने पुरो रुरोजिथ ॥

yá ugrá iva śaryahā́ tigmáśṛṅgo ná vaṃsagáḥ | ágne púro rurojítha ||

Tu, feroz como o matador dos hostis, de chifres agudos como um touro em investida—ó Agni, rompeste as fortalezas à nossa frente.
