तव द्युमन्तो अर्चयो ग्रावेवोच्यते बृहत् । उतो ते तन्यतुर्यथा स्वानो अर्त त्मना दिवः ॥

táva dyu-mánto arcáyo grā́vāiva ucyate bṛhát | utó te tanyatúr yáthā svā́nó arta tmanā́ diváḥ ||

Tuás chamas luminosas — teus cânticos de fogo — são chamadas o Vasto, o Grande, como a pedra de prensar que dá voz. E também tua força trovejante ressoa, como o chamado auto-soante do céu, nascido de sua própria natureza.
