Sukta 4.3
रक्षा णो अग्ने तव रक्षणेभी रारक्षाणः सुमख प्रीणानः । प्रति ष्फुर वि रुज वीड्वंहो जहि रक्षो महि चिद्वावृधानम् ॥
rákṣā no agne táva rákṣaṇebhī rārakṣāṇáḥ su-makha prīṇānáḥ | práti sphura ví ruja vīḷv áṃho jahí rákṣo máhi cit vāvṛdhānáṃ ||
Guarda-nos, ó Agni, com teus poderes de guarda — guardando-nos, ó de belo rosto, jubiloso. Rebate o golpe, rompe o mal compacto; mata o Rakṣas, ainda que tenha crescido, grande e poderoso.
