Transliteration

śunáṃ huvema maghávānam índram asmín bháre nṛ́-tamaṃ vā́ja-sātau | śṛṇvántam ugrám ūtáye samátsu ghnántaṃ vṛtrā́ṇi saṃjítam dhánānām ||

Translation

Para o nosso bem chamamos Indra, o generoso, nesta batalha — o mais varonil para a conquista da plenitude. Que ele nos ouça, o terrível, para auxílio nos embates, abatendo os Vṛtra, vencedor dos tesouros.
