Sukta 3.14
मित्रश्च तुभ्यं वरुणः सहस्वोऽग्ने विश्वे मरुतः सुम्नमर्चन् । यच्छोचिषा सहसस्पुत्र तिष्ठा अभि क्षितीः प्रथयन्त्सूर्यो नॄन् ॥
mitráś ca túbhyaṃ váruṇaḥ sahasvo’gne víśve marútaḥ sumnám arcan | yác chóc iṣā sahasas-putra tíṣṭhā abhí kṣitī́ḥ pratháyan sū́ryo nṝ́n ||
Mitra e Varuṇa, e todos os Maruts, cantam para ti a graça, ó Agni poderoso. Quando, com a tua chama, ó filho de Sahas (Força), te manténs de pé, alargando as moradas — como o Sol que amplia os homens até à sua plena estatura.
