Transliteration

ā hótā mandró vidáthāny asthāt satyó yajvā́ kavítamaḥ sá vedhā́ḥ | vidyúd-rathaḥ sáhasas-putró agníḥ śocíṣ-keśaḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ pā́jo aśret ||

Translation

Eis que o Hotṛ, a Chama jubilosa, tomou seu lugar nas assembleias do rito: veraz, sacrificante, o mais sábio dos videntes, conhecedor das obras justas. Agni, filho da Força, com o relâmpago por carro, com cabelos de chama, estendeu seu poder sobre a terra.
