अग्निर्धिया स चेतति केतुर्यज्ञस्य पूर्व्यः । अर्थं ह्यस्य तरणि ॥
Transliteration
agnír dhiyā́ sá cetati ketúr yajñásya pūrvyáḥ | árthaṃ hy asya táraṇi ||
Translation
Agni, pela inteligência inspirada, desperta e se torna consciente; ele é o antigo sinal, o farol do sacrifício. Pois ele faz atravessar e firma o seu verdadeiro alvo — torna eficaz o sentido e o propósito da oferenda.
