Sukta 2.31
उत त्ये देवी सुभगे मिथूदृशोषासानक्ता जगतामपीजुवा । स्तुषे यद्वां पृथिवि नव्यसा वचः स्थातुश्च वयस्त्रिवया उपस्तिरे ॥
utá tyé devī́ subhágē mithū-dṛ́śo uṣásā-náktā jágatām api-júvā | stuṣé yád vāṃ pṛthivi návyasā vácas sthātúś ca váyas trí-vayā upa-stíre ||
E também aquelas duas deusas, o par venturoso de um só olhar — Uṣas e Naktā, a Aurora e a Noite — que impelem adiante tudo o que se move nos mundos: a vós eu louvo quando, ó Terra, com uma palavra mais nova, o ser que está de pé e as potências aladas da vida tríplice se estendem como leito, como fundamento, para o teu crescimento.
