त्रिपादूर्ध्व उदैत्पुरुषः पादोऽस्येहाभवत्पुनः । ततो विष्वङ्व्यक्रामत्साशनानशने अभि ॥
Transliteration
tripā́d ūrdhvó udaít púruṣaḥ pā́do ’syehā́bhavat púnaḥ | táto víṣvaṅ vy àkrāmat sāśanānaśáne abhí ||
Translation
Três quartos de Puruṣa elevaram-se ao alto; um quarto dele tornou-se de novo aqui. Dali ele se expandiu por toda parte — para o que come e para o que não come.
