गृभ्णामि ते सौभगत्वाय हस्तं मया पत्या जरदष्टिर्यथासः । भगो अर्यमा सविता पुरंधिर्मह्यं त्वादुर्गार्हपत्याय देवाः ॥
gṛbhṇā́mi te saubhagatvā́ya hástaṃ máyā pátyā jaradáṣṭir yáthā́saḥ | bhágo aryamā́ savitā́ púraṃdhir máhyaṃ tvā́dur gārhapatyā́ya devā́ḥ ||
Tomo a tua mão para a boa fortuna, para que comigo por esposo envelheças, forte como uma árvore. Bhaga, Aryaman, Savitṛ e Purandhi — os deuses — deram-te a mim para o fogo doméstico que não se extingue.
