अश्रीरा तनूर्भवति रुशती पापयामुया । पतिर्यद्वध्वो वाससा स्वमङ्गमभिधित्सते ॥
Transliteration
aśrīrā tanū́r bhavati ruśátī pā́payā muyā́ | patír yád vadhvò vāsásā svám áṅgam abhidhítsate ||
Translation
Sem brilho fica o corpo, e para um fulgor enganoso se volta — por esse impulso funesto e desviador; quando o esposo busca possuir o próprio ser da noiva apenas pela veste, pela forma exterior e não pela alma que está dentro.
