अप ज्योतिषा तमो अन्तरिक्षादुद्नः शीपालमिव वात आजत् । बृहस्पतिरनुमृश्या वलस्याभ्रमिव वात आ चक्र आ गाः ॥
ápa jyótiṣā támo antárikṣād udnáḥ śīpā́lam iva vā́ta ā́jat | bṛ́haspátir anumṛ́śyā valásyā́bhram iva vā́ta ā́ cakra ā́ gā́ḥ ||
Com a luz ele expulsou as trevas do espaço intermédio, como o vento arrasta um odre de água. Bṛhaspati, tateando a caverna de Vala, como o vento que molda a nuvem, plasmou a vinda das vacas — fez avançar os raios.
