अपेन्द्र द्विषतो मनोऽप जिज्यासतो वधम् । वि मन्योः शर्म यच्छ वरीयो यवया वधम् ॥
Transliteration
ápendra dviṣató máno'pa jíjyāsato vadhám | ví manyóḥ śárma yaccha vārī́yo yavayā vadhám ||
Translation
Ó Indra, afasta a mente hostil; afasta o golpe daquele que deseja vencer. Contra a ira concede amplo abrigo, o melhor; empurra para longe o golpe.
