Sukta 10.149
गाव इव ग्रामं यूयुधिरिवाश्वान्वाश्रेव वत्सं सुमना दुहाना । पतिरिव जायामभि नो न्येतु धर्ता दिवः सविता विश्ववारः ॥
gāvá iva grā́maṃ yūyúdhiḥ ivā́śvān vāśréva vatsáṃ su-manā́ duhā́nā | pátir iva jāyā́m abhí no ný etu dhartā́ diváḥ savitā́ viśvá-vāraḥ ||
Como as vacas ao curral, como os corcéis ávidos no seu ímpeto, como a que muge, de bom ânimo, dá leite ao bezerro — assim desça em nós Savitṛ, Sustentador do céu, rico de todos os bens desejáveis; venha a nós como o esposo à esposa, para firmar em nós o reto movimento e a plenitude.
