Sukta 10.131
कुविदङ्ग यवमन्तो यवं चिद्यथा दान्त्यनुपूर्वं वियूय । इहेहैषां कृणुहि भोजनानि ये बर्हिषो नमोवृक्तिं न जग्मुः ॥
kuvíd áṅga yáva-manto yávaṃ cid yáthā dā́nty anupūrváṃ víyūya | ihéhaiṣāṃ kṛṇuhi bhójanāni yé bárhiṣo námo-vṛktiṃ ná jagmúḥ ||
Será que, ó Indra, até mesmo os ricos em cevada — a própria cevada — são levados a ceder, em justa sequência, um após outro? Aqui e aqui prepara para eles seus «alimentos» — para os que não chegaram ao corte da reverência sobre a relva sagrada, o barhis.
