बीभत्सूनां सयुजं हंसमाहुरपां दिव्यानां सख्ये चरन्तम् । अनुष्टुभमनु चर्चूर्यमाणमिन्द्रं नि चिक्युः कवयो मनीषा ॥

bībhatsū́nāṃ sayújaṃ haṃsám āhur apā́ṃ divyā́nāṃ sákhye cárantam | anuṣṭúbham ánu carcū́ryamāṇam índraṃ ní cikyuḥ kaváyo manīṣā́ ||

Chamam-no o Cisne, unido às potências que se afastam, movendo-se em amizade com as águas celestes. Seguindo o Anuṣṭubh, seguindo o ritmo que é posto em movimento, os videntes, por pensamento inspirado, reconheceram Indra.
