Sukta 10.115
एवाग्निर्मर्तैः सह सूरिभिर्वसुः ष्टवे सहसः सूनरो नृभिः । मित्रासो न ये सुधिता ऋतायवो द्यावो न द्युम्नैरभि सन्ति मानुषान् ॥
evā́gnír mártaiḥ sahá sūríbhir vásuḥ stávé sáhasaḥ sū́naro nṛ́bhiḥ | mitrā́so ná yé su-dhítā ṛtā́yavo dyā́vo ná dyumnáir abhí sánti mā́nuṣān ||
Assim, que Agni, o Vasu luminoso (o Bem), seja louvado pelos mortais juntamente com os chefes iluminados; como um forte filho do Poder entre os homens. Como os Mitra —bem firmados no reto entendimento, viajantes do Ṛta—, como os céus com seus esplendores, eles se erguem acima e ao redor do humano, cercando-o com pressão.
