वि हि त्वामिन्द्र पुरुधा जनासो हितप्रयसो वृषभ ह्वयन्ते । अस्माकं ते मधुमत्तमानीमा भुवन्त्सवना तेषु हर्य ॥

ví hí tvām indra purudhā́ jánāso hitáprayasó vṛṣabha hváyante | asmā́kaṃ te mádhumattamānīmā́ bhúvant sávanā téṣu harya ||

Pois muitos são os povos, ó Indra, que te chamam de muitos modos, ó Touro, com oferendas devidamente postas. Que estas nossas prensagens (Soma) sejam para ti as mais cheias de mel; nestes savana, nestas oferendas de Soma, deleita-te e põe em movimento a tua força.
