Sukta 1.89
तन्नो वातो मयोभु वातु भेषजं तन्माता पृथिवी तत्पिता द्यौः । तद्ग्रावाणः सोमसुतो मयोभुवस्तदश्विना शृणुतं धिष्ण्या युवम् ॥
tán no vā́to mayobhú vātu bheṣajáṃ tán mātā́ pṛthivī́ tát pitā́ dyáuḥ | tád grā́vāṇaḥ soma-súto mayobhúvas tád aśvínā śṛṇutaṃ dhiṣṇyā yuvám ||
Que Vāta, o vento‑sopro que traz alegria, nos insufle essa doçura medicinal; que a Mãe Terra e o Pai Céu firmem em nós esse mesmo dom. Que as pedras do Soma e o Soma espremido, portadores de deleite, o tornem presente; e vós dois, Aśvins, potências luminosas da perícia, ouvi‑nos, ó hábeis.
