Transliteration
pūrvī́bhir hí dadāśimá śarádbhīr maruto vayám | ávobhiś carṣaṇīnā́m ||
Translation
Pois por muitas estações de outrora, ó Maruts, nós nos entregamos (à obra); e por vossas proteções sustentais os povos — as potências humanas que se empenham.
